'Strike while the Iron is Hot', as more Pharmaceutical companies are penetrating countries such as China, India and Latin America that are projected to result in 10% increase in Pharmaceutical sales for the next 10 years. The diversity of these countries is a conundrum for a new entrant. Operational stability is again an issue at earlier stages, but data of the market will be critical to be profitable. All the top Pharmaceutical companies such as GSK, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca etc are already fit in these nations. For a mid size company, my count would be,,, partner with the local players or agencies, co-marketing should be the move. For a top player... understand market dynamics in its core and penetrate the most to capture the market.
